Walden Log Home in Rice Lake, Wisconsin
Hewn by Irish immigrants, these hand-hewn logs came from Quebeck, and date back to the 1840's. The reclaimed wood has been successfully recycled and renotched for a more updated floor plan. The "new" dovetail corners from the wooden log cabin look like they were made centuries ago, but were hand-notched by Walden for not only look, but be, authentic.
Sited in the Blue Hills, the oldest mountain range in North America, this home will be about 4000 s.f., with ample porches for enjoying the view.
